Need some advice on your new marriage?

2nd February, 2012

Kelly and Adam had a remarkable wedding at the Danada House in Wheaton, IL. Their theme was a family tree and from the first time we talked with Kelly and Adam we knew this would be something truly unique and special.

Dozens and dozens of picture frames holding family memories and stories were all throughout the venue. You could have spent hours simply looking at all the photos. The reception cards were replaced with leaves from a hand painted tree. So much attention to family, we knew there was only one way to capture Adam and Kelly’s wedding day. We hope you enjoy and maybe you learn a thing or two.

All This Time

14th December, 2011

The weather outside is frightful, but we’ve got something to warm your winter soul. Check out our latest sneak peek trailer from Matt and Brandi’s upcoming destination wedding film shot in Cancun, Mexico. Wow! Mexico. Those folks down at the Gran Caribe really like to pour drinks, which is good because we really enjoyed drinking them. We came back with a ton of great footage, new friendships and a fascination with the tequila sunrise.

Matt and Brandi are such an awesome couple. It was cool to spend time with them and really get to know them outside of their wedding day. Truly an amazing adventure was had by all. Now if our interns will get to work cleaning the sand out of all our equipment.

Good Life

30th November, 2011

I’m telling you, the Father of the Bride has just been bringing it this year! Allison’s dad was no exception. What a terrific speech to compliment a beautiful bride and awesome groom. You may recognize a few faces from some of our other wedding films. Allison herself has been in another wedding film we produced. It’s called a referral people, spread the love.

Congratulations to John and Allison! What an incredible wedding. May your life together be good indeed.

Hold On To Me

18th November, 2011

Downtown Chicago, early October, two super cool people in love. Sign me up right? Our crew had an amazing time at Steve and Annalisa’s wedding. Check out the sneak peek trailer for their upcoming wedding film and I bet you will too. My wife has watched this trailer a couple hundred times, she really digs it. She says they are an adorable couple. I am in agreement. Congratulations to you both and thanks for inviting us to film such a special occasion.

When I Fall in Love

16th November, 2011

LaPorte Indiana, ever heard of it? I have, but only because I’m from Michigan and making the drive to and from I’ve seen the sign on the highway. That is the extent of my knowledge of LaPorte. That is until we filmed Sam and Christine’s wedding there. What a beautiful location and wedding. Everything about their wedding was unique. The S’mores bar, the custom cake toppers, the magnificent ride that Christine arrived in – so many amazing little details. Hopefully, we captured them all!

The speeches at the reception were as outstanding as the people giving them. This was truly a wedding that makes us remember why we create wedding films that are a bit out of the ordinary. Sam and Christine trusted us to capture their day in an original and custom style. After being at the wedding, to do it any other way would have been an injustice to the day. We hope you enjoy it.

So In Love

8th November, 2011

I’ll tell you a thing or two about Nina and Eddie. They love to get down and they are madly in love. They also like long walks through Chicago in full wedding gear, but that’s technically three things. My face was sore the next day I was laughing so much. They definitely had one of the craziest wedding parties ever. (crazy in a good way). Plus we finally got a chance to work with Misha Media Photography and that was awesome. Seriously. Michelle was our wedding photographer oh so many years ago. Back before I started this company even. They were sweet back then, they are simply unbelievable now. Check them out.

Their trailer was a pleasure to edit, just ask Kate. Their wedding film will be no exception. Love, laughter and happily ever after, that’s a bit of a cliche at times, but here it couldn’t fit any better. Enjoy.

Eternal Sunshine

2nd November, 2011

Since the weather has moved to the colder side of the street, we figured a little sunshine might help warm you up. Here is a sneak peek trailer from Amreen and Razi’s upcoming wedding film. Okay, okay, there’s not really any actual sunshine in the wedding trailer (I don’t think). I’m talking metaphorically here people. If you don’t get all warm and fuzzy watching these two on their wedding day, we don’t know what else we can do for you. Such a fun couple and completely in love with each other, watch their eyes. It’s great.

Congratulations to Amreen and Razi and thanks for inviting us out to film your wedding event. Blessings to you and your families. They were all so welcoming and nice. We had a great time. Now on to more editing. Enjoy.

Winding Down

22nd September, 2011

So as the leaves trade their shades of green for the reds, oranges and yellows of autumn, our wedding season begins to wind down. With less than a dozen weddings left this year, we begin to turn our full attention to the mounds and mounds of editing waiting for us. It is in that spirit of editing that we are sharing 2 trailers with you today. We hope you enjoy them and enjoy these first days of fall as well.

She’s Got a Way (David and Judy)

Love Is (Marquelle and Maretchel)

Sandeep and Lalita: the Next Day/Same Day Edit

22nd August, 2011

My crew and I spent the past few days lugging hundreds of pounds of equipment around Chicago. Our shoots took us from the tranquility of the Sri Balaji Temple in Aurora to luxurious beauty of the Hilton Chicago all the way up to the jaw dropping views of the Skydeck in the Sears Tower (or Willis Tower depending on how you roll). We fought grueling traffic-even for Chicago, technical issues, the stress of a same day edit, working on no sleep and of course a torrential downpour. We do this because we are so incredibly passionate about what it is that we do. We make wedding films.

The Reddy and Prasad families are among the most gracious and giving that we’ve worked with. So helpful in our creative process and so inherently enjoyable to be around. Lalita and Sandeep’s wedding celebration was an extraordinary event to behold. Even with so much to concentrate on, it was impossible not to get swept up in the beauty and immensity of this event. Thank you for asking us to film such a tremendous and important celebration. Also a tip of the hat to AJ and Tazim Virani from A Varani Photgraphy for not only sharing our work to their clients, but for being some of the coolest and most talented photographers we’ve worked with. We presented this Next Day/Same Day Edit at their beautiful wedding reception at the Hilton Chicago last Saturday for the bride and groom and all their families and friends. We hope you enjoy it.

A Perfect Day (Nikhil + Megha)

20th July, 2011

Let’s face it, telling the story of two people and their wedding day is a wonderful job. Especially when those two people are Nikhil and Megha. Our footage was brimming with these little moments between the happy couple. A wink, a smile, the touch of a hand. It’s a cool thing to be able to get a glimpse of the kind of relationship the two of them share. Hearing the them talk about each other just solidified it. Their wedding day was a remarkable way to celebrate all that emotion. Friends and family from literally all over the world, joining together to commerorate this fantastic occasion. We learned a little German, ate some great food, met some really cool people and had fun time with an awesome couple. Congratulations to you both. Hope you enjoy the trailer.
